Rapper Xzibit's new born baby died on May 26, 2008 at 3:30 a.m. as a result of a premature birth.

The infant was born on May 15, 2008 and struggled to live due to immature lungs.

After a week of intensive treatment, the infant was not able to handle regular oxygen and passed away as a result.

The baby was named Xavier Kingston Joiner.
